Students as Producers: How students can contribute to their own learning
In the UK there is a lot of interest in how students can play a more active role in their own learning and how to make areas of the curriculum that students have historically found diffi- cult more accessible. The ‘Students as Producers’ project supports students in creating teaching resources that help demystify these areas. Students – with their prolific use of Web 2.0 technologies plus their unique insight as learners – have a lot to offer. Tim Morgan, the project coordinator will show various case studies and talk about what Queen Mary University of London have learned so far. Please bring your mobile phone / tablet / laptop with you for the session.
