Ein weiterer ermunternder Schritt bei der Korruptionsbekämpfung in Indonesien ist die heutige Verurteilung von Muhammad Nazaruddin durch das Oberste Gericht in Indonesien, der die SEA Spiele genutzt hat, um sich ein mal mehr selbst zu bereichern.

Die ursprüngliche Strafe, die vom Korruptionsgericht in Jakarta ausgesprochen wurde (4 Jahre und 10 Monate und 200 Mio. IDR) wurde noch einmal erhöht auf 7 Jahre und 300 Mio. IDR. Die KPK heisst diesen Richterspruch sehr willkommen.
