Who were they really, these two men in stone, sitting so lost in thought in front of our university? What influence did they have on Berlin and its university? Why is so much named after them, especially that which seeks sympathy and public support?
We will address these questions (and a few others) on a leisurely guided tour on 5 June at 4 pm. The tour will start at the statue of Hegel on Hegelplatz and continue to the university, the Singakademie, the Museum Island and to the Humboldt Forum. Your guides are fellow students, who have prepared this tour as part of an English course. In the spirit of the great Alexander von Humboldt, come along and explore.
